为什么日本每年都“热死”很多人？一、在日本，有很多老人，他们没有钱，所以虽然很热，但是他们不开空调。又因为外面很热，他们不希望外面的热气到房间里，所以他们关门关窗户。

1. 因为……，所以……
因为...,所以... is translated as 'Because..., therefore...'. It is used to express cause and effect.

2. verb+着
着 placed after a verb indicates that an action or state is ongoing or in progress.

3. 虽然……，但是/可是……
虽然 means 'although' or 'even though'. The second part of the sentence using 虽然 should start with 但是 or 可是 which means 'but' or 'however'. In English 'but' or 'however' can usually be excluded.
‣ 虽然汉语很难，但是我觉得很有意思。
Even though Chinese is difficult, I think it is interesting.
‣ 虽然时间很晚，但是我还要工作。
Although it is late, I am still going to work.
