1. Take it in stride

【解释】 To accept setbacks as the normal course of events.

Jǐnguǎn tā bèi jùjuéle, tā cóngróng jiēshòu zhè yī shìshí bìng kāishǐ zhuī bié bié de nǚhái.
- Despite getting laid off, he took it in stride and got a job interview the next day.
尽管被裁员了,他坦然接受事实,第二天就去参加了一个面试。
Jǐnguǎn bèi cáiyuánle, tā tǎnrán jiēshòu shìshí, dì èr tiān jiù qù cānjiāle yīgè miànshì.
2. Pull one's weight

(Tuánduì lǐ) jìnlì.
【解释】 To work as hard as other people in a group.
【例句】
- The boss hated it when people did not pull their weight on the team.
老板不喜欢有人不为团队出力。
Lǎobǎn bù xǐhuan yǒurén bù wéi tuánduì chūlì.
- We all need to pull our weight in order to resolve this conflict.
为了解决这一争端,我们都应该尽力。
Wèi liǎo jiějué zhè yī zhēngduān, wǒmen dōu yīnggāi jìnlì.
