A: Dàwèi huílai le ma?

A: 大卫回来了吗?

A: Is David back?

B: Méiyǒu, tā hái zài jiàoshì xuéxí ne.

B：没有，他还在教室学习呢。

B: No. He is still studying in the classroom.

A: Yǐjīng jiǔ diǎn duō le, tā zěnme hái zài xuéxí?

A: 已经 9 点多了，他怎么还在学习？

A: It's after 9 o'clock. Why is he still studying?

B: Míngtiān yǒu kǎo shì, tā shuō jīntiān yào hǎohāo zhǔnbèi.

B: 明天有考试，他说今天要好好准备。

B: There will be a test tomorrow. He said he'll work hard in preparation for it today.

2.去机场的路上 On the way to the airport

Nǐ xiànzài zài nǎr ne?

A：你现在在哪儿呢？

A: Where are you now?

A: ¿Dónde estás ahora?

Zài qù jīchǎng de lùshang. Nǐ yǐjīng dàole ma?

B: 在去机场的路上。你已经到了吗？

B: I'm on the way to the airport. Have you arrived?

B: Camino al aeropuerto. ¿Ya has llegado?

Wǒ xià fēijī le. Nǐ hái yǒu duō cháng shíjiān néng dào zhèr?

A: 我下飞机了。你还有多长时间能到这儿？

A: I've got off the plane. How many more minutes do you need to get here?

A: Acabo de bajar del avión. ¿Cuánto tiempo más tardarás en llegar aquí?

Èrshí fēnzhōng jiù dào.

B：二十分钟就到。

B: In 20 minutes.

B: Estaré allí en veinte minutos.

3.在健身房 In the gym 

A: Nǐ jiā lí gōngsī yuǎn ma?

A: 你家离公司远吗？

A: Is your home far from the company?

A: ¿Tu casa está lejos de la empresa?

B: Hěn yuǎn, zuò gōnggòng qìchē yào yí ge duō xiǎoshí ne!

B: 很远，坐公共汽车要一个多小时呢！

B: Yes, very far. It takes more than an hour by bus!

B: Sí, muy lejos. ¡Tarda más de una hora en autobús!

A: Zuò gōnggòng qìchē tài màn le, nǐ zěnme bù kāi chē?

A: 坐公共汽车太慢了，你怎么不开车？

A: Taking the bus is too slow, why don't you drive?

A: Coger el autobús es demasiado lento, ¿por qué no conduces?

B: Kāi chē yě bú kuài, lùshang chē tài duō le!

B: 开车也不快，路上车太多了！

B: Driving isn't faster; there are too many cars on the road!

B: Conducir tampoco es más rápido; ¡hay demasiados coches en la carretera!

4.在路上 On the way

A: Jīntiān wǎnshang wǒmen yìqǐ chī fàn ba, gěi nǐ guò shēngrì.

A: 今天晚上我们一起吃饭吧，给你过生日。

A: Let's have dinner together tonight to celebrate your birthday.

A: Cenemos juntos esta noche para celebrar tu cumpleaños.

B: Jīntiān? Lí wǒ de shēngrì hái yǒu yí gè duō xīngqī ne!

B: 今天？离我的生日还有一个多星期呢！

B: Today? But my birthday is still more than a week away!

B: ¿Hoy? ¡Pero si falta más de una semana para mi cumpleaños!

A: Xià ge xīngqī wǒ yào qù Běijīng, jīntiān guò ba.

A: 下个星期我要去北京，今天过吧。

A: I will be going to Beijing next week, so let's celebrate today.

A: La próxima semana iré a Beijing, así que celebremos hoy.

B: Hǎo ba, lí zhèr bù yuǎn yǒu yí ge Zhōngguó fànguǎn, zǒu jǐ fēnzhōng jiù dàole.

B: 好吧，离这儿不远有一个中国饭馆，走几分钟就到了。

B: Alright, there's a Chinese restaurant not far from here, just a few minutes' walk away.

B: Está bien, hay un restaurante chino no muy lejos de aquí, a solo unos minutos andando.
