1.在宿舍 In the dorm

A: Zuótiān shàngwǔ nǐ qù nǎr le?

A：昨天上午你去哪儿了？

A: Where did you go yesterday morning?

A: ¿A dónde fuiste ayer por la mañana?

B: Wǒ qù shāngdiàn mǎi dōngxi le.

B：我去商店买东西了。

B: I went to the store to buy some things.

B: Fui a la tienda a comprar algunas cosas.

A: Nǐ mǎi shénme le?

A：你买什么了？

A: What did you buy?

A: ¿Qué compraste?

B: Wǒ mǎi le yīdiǎnr píngguǒ.

B: 我买了一点儿苹果。

B: I bought some apples.

B: Compré unas manzanas.

2.在公司 In the company

A: Nǐ kànjiàn Zhāng xiānsheng le ma?

A：你看见张先生了吗？

A: Did you see Mr. Zhang?

A: ¿Viste al señor Zhang?

B: Kànjiàn le, tā qù xué kāi chē le.

B：看见了，他去学开车了。

B: Yes, I did; he went to learn driving.

B: Sí, lo vi; él fue a aprender a conducir.

A: Tā shénme shíhou néng huílai?

A：他什么时候能回来？

A: When can he come back?

A: ¿Cuándo puede regresar?

B: Sìshí fēnzhōng hòu huílai.

B: 40分钟后回来。

B: He will come back in 40 minutes.

B: Regresará en 40 minutos.

3.在商店门口 Outside a store

A: Wáng Fāng de yīfu tài piàoliang le!

A: 王方的衣服太漂亮了！

A: Wang Fang's clothes are so beautiful!

A: ¡La ropa de Wang Fang es muy bonita!

B: Shì a, tā mǎile bùshǎo yīfu.

B：是啊，他买了不少衣服。

B: Yes, indeed, he bought quite a few clothes.

B: Sí, de hecho, compró bastantes prendas.

A: Nǐ mǎi shénme le?

A：你买什么了？

A: What did you buy?

A: ¿Qué compraste?

B: Wǒ méi mǎi, zhèxiē dōu shì Wáng Fāng de dōngxi.

B：我没买，这些都是王方的东西。

B: I didn't buy anything; these all belong to Wang Fang.

B: No compré nada; todo esto es de Wang Fang.
