1.在办公室In the office

A: Zhuōzi shang yǒu shénme?

A：桌子上有什么？

A: What is on the table?

A: ¿Qué hay en la mesa?

B: Zhuōzi shàng yǒu yí ge diànnǎo hé yì běn shū.

B：桌子上有一个电脑和一本书。

B: There is a computer and a book on the table.

B: Hay una computadora y un libro en la mesa.

A: Bēizi zài nǎr?

A：杯子在哪儿？

A: Where is the cup?

A: ¿Dónde está la taza?

B: Bēizi zài zhuōzi lǐ.

B：杯子在桌子里。

B: The cup is in the table.

2.在健身房In the gym

A: Qiánmiàn nàge rén jiào shénme míngzi?

A：前面那个人叫什么名字？

B: 她叫王方，在医院工作。

3.在图书馆In the library

A: Zhèr yǒu rén ma?

中国人姓名的特点Features of Chinese People's Names

中国人的名字一般是姓氏在前、名字在后，比如“李月”、“谢朋”、“王方”，其中“李”、“谢”、“王”是姓，“月”、“朋”、“方”是名字。

中国人的姓有5000多个，现在常见的大概有200多个，“张”、“王”、“李”、“赵”是中国人最常见的姓。这样一个字的姓叫作单姓，大多数中国人的姓是单姓。除此以外也有两个字或者两个字以上的姓，叫作复姓，比如“欧阳”、“上官”、“诸葛” 等等。

在称呼时，可以用一个人的姓加上这个人的工作或者职业。比如，李月姓李，是老
师，我们可以称呼她“李老师”；王方姓王，是医生，我们可以称呼她“王医生”。

A Chinese name starts with the family name and ends with the given name, for example, in the names "李月", "谢朋" and "王方", "李", "谢" and "王" are family names and "月", "朋" and "方" are given names.

There are over 5,000 Chinese family names, among which more than 200 are commonly seen. "张", "王", "李" and "赵" are the most common ones. Such family names as have only one character are known as single-character surnames. Most Chinese people have a single-character surname. There are surnames with two or more characters also, which are called compound-
character surnames, such as "欧阳", "上官" and "诸葛".

A person can be addressed with his/her family name followed by his/her job or profession. For instance, "李月" is a teacher, so we can call her "李老师" (literally Teacher Li), while "王方" is a doctor and we can call her "王医生" (literally Doctor Wang).
